Who This Course Is For

Prerequisites and Readiness
- Minimum age 18.
- TDI Nitrox Diver or equivalent for the Advanced Nitrox component.
- SDI Advanced Adventure Diver, SDI Advanced Diver, or equivalent for Decompression Procedures.
- Proof of at least 25 logged open-water dives.
- Consistent buoyancy, trim, propulsion, awareness and gas-sharing skills.
How Training Works
The combined program must satisfy the current requirements of both certifications. Blue Water Ascent delivers it over five days with a minimum of nine dives, supported by academic development, equipment and planning workshops, and land drills. Training progresses to planned staged decompression, with a maximum depth of 45 metres.
Course duration is performance-based. Meeting minimum attendance or dive numbers does not guarantee certification; all required knowledge and skills must be demonstrated consistently.
